For the past four years, the RAC-PAC has been proud to carry the title “Largest Community Team.” In 2008 we raised close to $30,000. Please help continue our streak by joining us on May 9th! Let's fight for a cure NOW so our daughers won't have to! We need your help!
Run, Walk, Donate, Be Inspired!
Who will you run for? Each one of us has been touched by someone diagnosed with breast cancer…run in her honor…run in her memory; you can help make a difference. At this year’s race, I will celebrate 4 years as a survivor. Celebrate with me and help me raise $5,000.
Who inspires me? I want to dedicate my fundraising efforts to my mom and my six survivor “bosom buddies,” Lori McElyea, Linda Collins, Ann Mottola, Maggie Uhey, Wendy Shadowens & Tina Macuaha. All six are young -- all six are "Pioneers" in a journey together to teach others about strength, courage and perseverance. Since last year’s race, my mom and my six friends have been going through countless treatments and surgeries with grace and tenacity. If you join the RAC-PAC you will have the pleasure of meeting them and I promise, you too will be inspired!
Remember…
This year I will run in memory of a friend and RAC-PAC team-member since 2007, Cathy Reynolds. Cathy passed away last week after a valiant 12-year battle. She had the most amazing positive spirit and embraced each day as if it was a true gift. She was a go-getter and avid fundraiser of all causes, especially for her children. I feel strongly that a part of her legacy, and the legacy of others who have fought this disease before her, is to motivate others to make a difference.
